Position Summary:
The Inventory Control Specialist (IC Specialist) will oversee the flow of inventory into and out of the Serendipity Hearing, Inc. Inventory System through in-take and processing of new orders, follow-up on held orders, and shipment of cleared orders. The IC Specialist will provide the highest quality to exceed external and internal customer expectations and to support the mission of Serendipity Hearing Inc.
Essential Functions:

• Prepare and maintain records of all inventory.
• Compile inventory reports and provide them to management as necessary.
• Coordinate receipt and shipping of all inventory.
• Process and ship cleared orders timely.
• Follow-up on held orders.
• Investigate inventory shortages and discrepancies.
• Post weights and shipping charges.
• Work with providers, patients, vendors, and other members of the company, as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Required Skills:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task and great attention to detail.
• Must be a self-starter and have excellent time-management skills.
• Ability to take direction, work well alone and in a team environment.
• Strong customer service orientation and good problem-solving skills.
Required Education and Experience
Experience and education requirements may be adjusted where necessary in response to labor market constraints.
• Associates Degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1-2 years inventory control and accounting experience preferred.

Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position.
Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
